ABOUT Kim

I am a former Deputy Attorney General for the State of Alabama and Program Director for the Alabama State Bar. I have over 20 years’ experience practicing law with the Law Office of Kim Oliver. I also was an attorney for Emory University in Atlanta, GA. and PPD, a pharmaceutical company in Raleigh, NC. Prior to attending law school, I was a commissioned National Bank Examiner and commissioned National Trust Examiner with the U.S. Treasury, Comptroller of the Currency, Washington D.C. and Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for American Bank & Trust in New Orleans, LA.

I obtained my BBA from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida and J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

I am licensed to practice law in Alabama and Texas.

When I am not practicing law, I enjoy traveling, the beach, jazz concerts, movies, swimming and listening to podcasts. I also like sports, primarily University of Miami Football. I am the mother of a young adult son.
