As a former staff attorney with Legal Services Alabama, she handled heirs-property matters and helped families address ownership and title issues involving inherited homes and land.
Her public-service experience includes serving as a Deputy Attorney General with the Alabama Attorney General's Office and as Director of Continuing Legal Education for the Alabama State Bar.
Her background also includes service as Vice President and Compliance Officer for American Bank in New Orleans and as a National Bank Examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, U.S. Department of the Treasury. This combination of legal, regulatory, and banking experience gives her a practical perspective on the financial and title issues that often accompany inherited property.
